Keiana Winters, LCPC
Concentrations: addiction and substance abuse, process addiction, LGBT issues, depression, anxiety, relationships and personality disorders.
Biography: Keiana Winters (Johns) is experienced counseling adults, adolescents, families, and couples, presenting with issues related to dual diagnosis, process addictions, substance and alcohol use disorders. She has dedicated her career to working with, and treating, a variety of populations, including Veterans and LGBT. Keiana’s work focuses on mentoring and fostering growth and independence in adults and adolescents to overcome familial/relationship struggles, mental health issues, and addiction.
Keiana Winters works with individuals as well as groups for a multitude of concerns including depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, and compulsions. As a wife of a retired Veteran, Keiana has focused her research efforts on the mental health of the veteran population, as well as multiculturalism and adolescent development. Keiana utilizes an integrated approach that focuses on the needs of the patient.
Keiana received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Illinois University, her Master’s degree in Counseling from Saint Xavier University and is currently obtaining her Ph.D from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
