Concentration: Individual, family and group psychotherapy for adults and adolescents related to eating disorders, mood disturbances, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, body image, self-esteem, life transitions, spirituality, relationship issues, and identity development.

Biography: As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I am passionate about working with adults, adolescents and families dealing with all types of eating, mood and anxiety disorders. In addition, I have significant experience working with clients struggling with non-suicidal self-injury, trauma, and issues related to relationships, identity development, body image, spirituality and self-esteem.

I believe that the process of growth and healing requires a unique kind of strength and courage. My approach to therapy begins with creating a space of acceptance, honesty and respect where clients can feel safe to step into self-exploration and take risks in order to build self-awareness and create meaningful change in their lives. My work with clients integrates relational, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I earned my bachelor’s degree in French, with a minor in Corporate Strategy, from Vanderbilt University and my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University, where I also trained at The Family Institute. I have earned an advanced certification (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp™) and am board certified with the National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also currently working toward becoming a certified Family Based Treatment (FBT) therapist through the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders.
